A death in Fort-Coulonge

After an altercation that took place around 6 p.m. last night on rue Principale in Fort-Coulonge, one man is confirmed to be deceased.

On site, the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) discovered the body of Harold Plugowsky, a 61-year-old man. The investigation began last night and witnesses were questioned in the hours that followed. The Sûreté’s Forensic specialists were still on site this morning to collect information. After the court hearing on Tursday Septembre 3, 37-year-old Johan Mitchel Blake MacLennan was accused of murder in the first degree.

The investigation has been given to the SQ’s service des enquêtes sur les crimes contre la personne with collaboration with the Gatineau major crimes unit.
