Les priorités de Mariana Mefleh pour le Pontiac

On September 17th, Mariana Mefleh, the Coalition Avenir Québec candidate in Pontiac, presented her priorities for the riding as part of the provincial election campaign.

Among the issues she highlighted, she wants to better support people living with severe intellectual or physical disabilities and their families, particularly during the transition to adulthood. She also proposes simplifying certain administrative procedures.

In healthcare, Ms. Mefleh wants to improve access to care in more remote areas of Pontiac, notably by strengthening local services, further developing CLSCs (local community health centres), and promoting the attraction and retention of healthcare professionals in the region.

Agriculture is also among her priorities. She stated her intention to support producers in the context of tariffs, defend supply management, and maintain the reimbursement of their carbon market contributions. She also proposes doubling the funding for the Agricultural Succession Investment Fund (FIRA) and reducing certain administrative procedures related to the agricultural sector.

At the Outaouais level, the five candidates of Team Christine Fréchette are putting forward several projects, including the University-affiliated hospital centre, the convention centre, the Regional Museum and the widening of Highway 50.
