16 June 2021 à 12:00 am

The Société de protection des forêts contre le feu (SOPFEU), with the authorities concerned from the partners’ liaison and information committees (CLIP) and the Ministry of Forests, Wildlife and Parks, suggests that its members maintain the suspension of logging and silvicultural work currently in force, but to modify the time slot for the application of the measure in certain sectors as of June 14, 2021 at 6 p.m.

Thus, the SOPFEU maintains its recommendation to suspend work from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. in certain sectors included in the following forest regions: Bas-Saint-Laurent (01), Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean (02), Capitale-Nationale (03), Mauricie (04), Outaouais (07), Abitibi-Témiscamingue (08), Côte-Nord (09), Gaspésie – Îles-de-la-Madeleine (11), Chaudière-Appalaches (12), Lanaudière ( 14), Laurentians (15).
