The Fromagerie La Drave project could see the light of day next fall

After winning three prizes at the 23rd edition of the OSEntreprendre Outaouais Challenge, Maryse Vallières-Murray gave more details on the Fromagerie La Drave project, which she initiated with Trevor Rivet and could see the light of day in the fall of 2021. The project of the two entrepreneurs is to produce cheese and sell it on site. The company is still in the start-up phase, but it is known that they intend to produce several cheeses, including cheese curds.

“We bought milk from the Pontiac and we are going to make our cheese. There are really several original products that we want to develop, both in terms of cheese and ice cream. The goal would be to be able to start producing cheese next fall, no later than December, “hopes Maryse Vallières.

The goal, according to Maryse Vallières-Murray, is not only to start a business, but also to help revitalize the community of Fort-CoulongeMansfield. The two entrepreneurs are currently completing some studies and analyzes.

It should be remembered that Fromagerie La Drave won first place in three categories at the OSEntreprendre Challenge, namely Bio-food, the Coup de cœur Student Creator Award and above all the Young Entrepreneur Honor Award.
