The CSSHBO gives more details for the remote pedagogical support days for December and January

The plan for educational support days for the holiday season is taking shape at the Centre de service scolaire des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais (CSSHBO). As announced by the Ministry of Education, December 17, 18, 21 and 22, 2020 as well as January 7 and 8, 2021 will be remote pedagogical support days for all students. The management of the CSSHBO gave more details.

• FOR PRESCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY STUDENTS
For the class days scheduled for December 17, 18, 21 and 22, 2020, students will learn at home by different means determined by the teacher (e.g. readings, assignments, activities, workshops, suggestions for video clips, videoconferencing, etc.) Their teachers will make sure to keep direct and daily contact according to the possible and available modes of communication. The return to class for these students is scheduled for January 7, 2021.

• FOR SECONDARY STUDENTS, GENERAL ADULT TRAINING AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING
For the school days scheduled for December 17, 18, 21 and 22, 2020 and January 7 and 8, 2021, distance education services will be offered to all these students. Educational services will be carried out according to the students’ usual schedule and the means used are determined by the teachers (eg: virtual classes, readings, independent work, activities, etc.). The return to class for these students is scheduled for January 11, 2021.
