Rainfall warning in effect Monday and Tuesday

Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for the Pontiac region, as close to 50 mm of precipitation is expected by tomorrow (August 9).

“Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads,” the statement reads. “Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.”
