Visa is launching a video game to facilitate the education of young
Visa Canada is launching a dynamic educational video game, titled The Silver City, which teaches youths the basics on setting financial goals, salary, savings and how to spend wisely. This game that Visa will officially launch in French and English during the Montreal Conference of the International Economic Forum of America, is aimed at young people aged between 7 and 12 years old and is a creative way to encourage them to learn about finances.
Visa created the Silver City to make learning personal finance fun for kids. The goal is to continue to develop resources and educational tools that will appeal to young people, while allowing them to acquire basic skills in personal finance that will serve them throughout their lives.
