The Francofête of Impératif français program which will take place from 9 to 26 March was revealed earlier this week. The President of Impératif français, Jean-Paul Perreault, says that the reason for the long duration of the festival is to reflect the provinces linguistic heritage:

Last year, at a luncheon during the event, Impératif français awarded the Lyse Daniel award to Fort-Coulonge resident Benoît Paré for his contribution to the Francophonie in the Pontiac.
