Ottawa Police is investigating possible human remains
The Ottawa Police Service began an investigation concerning the possible discovery of human remains in the western sector of the city.
A ground-penetrating radar was used to explore the backyard of a home-residence located on Virgil Street, but so far no human remains have been detected.
The police had visited the address in May, as part of another active police investigation and the present owners had told them they had found the bones last fall.
The search, which ended this morning, was only conducted as a precautionary measure.
