Important anti-drug strike in Ottawa
A major strike against drugs was performed Wednesday in Ottawa.
After five months of investigation, the Street Crimes Unit was able to finally get their hands on 108 people or 96 men and 12 women.
39 of them have already been arrested and charged. 69 others are still major suspects in this case.
In all, five search warrants were filed in residences, which resulted in the seizure of a firearm, more than 14,000 dollars in cash and several types of drugs worth 51,480 dollars.
An additional quantity of drugs, valued at $ 850 and a $ 500 cash were seized during the arrests.
