The Radiothon is CHIP FM’s annual fundraising event, which this year is being held May 18th to 20th. Much like a telethon, CHIP FM will be featuring live entertainers and special guests, and the money raised helps to pay for numerous yearly expenses which are vital to our continued operation. The amount of support we can demonstrate also goes a long way in securing various government grants and programs at both the provincial and federal levels.
The Radiothon also serves as our annual celebration of CHIP FM, with 2012 marking 31 years of broadcasting in the Pontiac and Upper Ottawa Valley. It’s a time CHIP Staff, volunteers and supporters can get together to meet, and help keep community radio on the air. Join us for a public barbeque and bingo Sunday Afternoon. Call in your pledge, or drop it off at the station. Each donation will go a long way to ensure your favorite programming remains on the air.
