Several organizations and athletes of the Pontiac have stood out by picking up a nomination for 26th Gala leisure sport Outaouais (LSO).

In the category of volunteer of the year, Mr Gaétan Graveline of the Centre de loisirs des Draveurs has been nominated. La maison des jeunes du Pontiac has obtained a nomination in the Organization of the year category. Michèle Gagnon, a Powerlifting athlete from the Pontiac is shortlisted in the category female Athlete par excellence on a national level and it should be to no surprise that Bristol Dryland host of the Canadian dogsled Championship races and organizer the world championship in the fall of 2015 has been nominated in the category sport-tourism event of the year.

MAtv will then broadcast the award ceremony.

In all, there are 72 Finalists who will take part in the 26th Gala leisure sport Outaouais on June 8 at l’École secondaire du Versant in Gatineau.
