Historical manifestation of Quebec students
In the world of education, the student strike combines an historic moment. As of yesterday, more than 310,000 students in Quebec were officially on strike.
In the Outaouais region, 5 modules of UQO voted in favor of a walkout, in addition to students from the Cégep de l'Outaouais. Those of Heritage College could also join the strike on Monday.
A large demonstration was held yesterday in Montreal. More than 250,000 students from across Quebec and parents have protested against rising tuition fees.
According to the student leader, Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois, this is an historic mobilization.
