Lawrence Cannon Canada's Ambassador to France
Rumors had circulated ...but it's now confirmed: the former Conservative minister, Lawrence Cannon, will represent Canada in France.
He was appointed ambassador yesterday afternoon by Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
Mr. Cannon represented the riding of Pontiac before undergoing the escapades of the orange wave on May 2nd 2011.
