The Chef from Bryson and Chef at the restaurant Les Fougères, Yannick La Salle, has once again been honored. This time, it was in the city of Ottawa, by Mayor Jim Watson and the Canadian Great Kitchen Party, for his gold medal at the 2019 Canadian Culinary Championship. It has also been confirmed that Ottawa will be hosting the Canadian Culinary Championship next year. The feat of the Bryson native occurred last February in Kelowna, British Columbia.
