Earlier this week, the CISSSO announced the establishment of winter clinics in the region, due to an increase in cases of influenza, gastroenteritis and other winter infections. According to McConnery, this month the Outaouais is experiencing its winter “peak” of activity, meaning the time of year when flu and other infections are more abundant . The CISSSO has also published on its website a consultation guide.
