Why should you apply to the Pontiac Scholarship Fund?

Applications for the Pontiac Bursaries are still open for a few days in order to help students in the region to pursue their higher studies through funding or a scholarship.

Former recipient of this annual initiative, Travis Narlock, from Otter Lake, shared how the scholarships have benefited him throughout his post-secondary journey.

In 2020, the Pontiac Bursaries will award 24 scholarships of $ 1,000 to Pontiac students in several fields, including: health sciences, art, agriculture, community service, university studies.

Mr. Narlock graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2018 in biochemistry. In a message to future Pontiac students, he explained how post-secondary studies enabled them to broaden their horizons.

The deadline for submitting an application to the Pontiac Bourses is August 14, via info boursesdupontiac.ca. More information is available at www.boursesdupontiac.ca.
