Several black bears have been seen in recent days in various parts of the Outaouais, including the Pontiac in municipalities, such as Alleyn-and-Cawood, Shawville, Otter Lake and Mansfield. CHIP’s own Élizabeth Séguin spoke to the biologist in charge of the region under the Quebec Ministry of Forests, Wildlife and Parks, André Dumont, about the growing presence of the black bear in the Outaouais.

Outaouais Wildlife Protection Director Michel Guay talks about what to do if you encounter a bear.
