The MRC Pontiac has published recommendations for those planning a fishing or boating trip during this time of COVID-19.

The MRC requests you :
- Gather all supplies (safety equipment, fishing gear, food, etc.) before leaving;
- Avoid unnecessary stops or traffic in the community;
- Only members of the same household should travel together;
- Keep a safety distance of 2 meters if you have to get in touch with someone else;
- Avoid traveling between provinces by boat, kayak, paddle board, etc. ;
- Respect and follow all safety rules to avoid calling the emergency services.

If you have symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, dry cough), call 1-819-644-4545 or 1-877-644-4545 and stay at home!
