The mayors of the MRC Pontiac will meet virtually this Wednesday evening at their regional council meeting. It will discuss the latest developments in the region, in addition to new data on COVID-19 in the region, the emergency assistance fund for SMEs and other subjects.

Residents had until June 12 to electronically submit their questions for questioning during the public question period. The MRC Pontiac indicated that it was unable to welcome the public in this context, but that an audio recording of the session will be published on its website.

The meeting will however be accessible to the media.

Note that if a question from the public is not addressed during the session, the MRC Pontiac ensures that a member of staff will answer it within 30 days of the date of submission.

Remember that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the monthly meetings of the TNO Council and the Regional Council of Mayors are held by videoconference. A decree from the FQM now requires that all public municipal meetings be recorded (audio, video or written) and made available to the public.
