The mayor of the municipality of Ile-du-Grand-Calumet, Serge Newberry, was back last Monday at the meeting of the municipal council, he whose departure on sick leave for an indefinite period had been announced by the council last May.

During this municipal meeting, the traffic was discussed on certain streets of the municipality which were the subject of complaints from residents. The Ile-du-Grand-Calumet council has resolved to implement some solutions and will also seek to find an answer to the problem of dust in certain gravel roads.

Speed bumps will therefore be installed to answer the question of speed. The audio from the Ile-du-Grand-Calumet municipal meeting is available here.
