Tourisme Outaouais is looking for a new CEO

Tourisme Outaouais has announced that its President CEO, France Bélisle, will be leaving the organization on April 2. The latter had already submitted her resignation in March 2020, a few days before the start of the pandemic. “The president of the board, Geneviève Dumas, told me then that I could change my mind. I called her back to suggest that she stay a bit,” exclaimed the CEO. “France has enabled Tourisme Outaouais to position itself very clearly as an important and essential regional organization. Thanks to her leadership, our positioning as a gateway as well as the links with our partners in Ottawa have never been so anchored and assumed, “added Ms. Dumas, Chairman of the Board of Tourisme Outaouais.

“Each day spent at Tourisme Outaouais made me proud and happy. I have done my best to ensure that the value of the tourism industry is recognized among regional economic players, politicians and the population,” said France Bélisle. The hiring process to find Tourisme Outaouais’s next CEO will be launched next week.
