The Tuesday, November 14, 2017 edition of Le Droit newspaper, covers of the beginning of the trial of a former camp monitor, David-Francis Bursey, Camp Tim Hortons in Quyon, accused of sexually assaulting two children. An alleged first victim delivered his testimony last Monday in Gatineau, on events that would have occurred in 2005.

The accused, an employee of the Tim Hortons Camp between 2004 and 2006, has been a member of the Canadian Armed Forces infantry since 2013. According to the Crown, the man who resides in Edmonton today was in a position authority over young boys at the time. The children were chosen to participate in the two-week Tim Hortons Foundation program in the Outaouais.

In March 2016, Le Droit revealed that David-Francis Bursey was accused of the sexual assault of at least two boys. The MRC des Collines police still believe that there might be other victims. One of the victims reportedly reported his assault in 2005, but at the time, the police at MRC des Collines could not complete an investigation.
