At the Council of Mayors of the MRC Pontiac, the electoral budget proposed by the election’s president, Bernard Roy, was adopted.

Fourteen of the eighteen councillors voted in favor of By-law no. 239-2017 fixing the warden’s salary at $ 54,890 for the first year, the minimum remuneration proposed by the province. Four councillors registered their dissatisfaction with the proposed salary.
