The Regional Association of West Quebecers announces the departure of their director

The Regional Association of West Quebecers said yesterday that Linton Garner will no longer occupy the position of Director, a position he had been fulfilling for several years.

The President, Arthur Ayers, thanked Linton Garner for the work accomplished. No reason for leaving was mentioned, but the Regional Association of West Quebecers experienced some financial difficulties. Linton Garner was also a regular contributor to CHIP 101.9, as part of his columns on the English-speaking community in Quebec.
