The Pontiac Local Health Network still has fewer than 5 active cases of COVID-19 according to statistics from the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais. The Pontiac was no longer the only territory to show less than 5 cases, the Papineau territory also had 5 cases or less, but that number was changed to six (6) cases this afternoon according to statistical data from the CISSS de l’Outaouais.
The Outaouais has, as of February 9, 106 active cases in total. The city of Gatineau has the majority of active cases with 77. The MRC de la Vallée-de-la-Gatineau follows with 12, followed by the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais with 10. The Pontiac has had 65 cases in total since the start of the pandemic.
