The testimonies paying tribute to Sylvain Bégin, following the motorcycle accident which cost him his life, multiplied yesterday on social media. From the Mansfield-et-Pontefract Fire Department, Patrick Bertrand paid tribute to Sylvain Bégin who was greatly involved in this organization.

The mayor of Rapides-des-Joachims, Jim Gibson, who worked for several years with Sylvain Bégin, who held the position of general manager, was visibly shaken by the events. He wanted to pay tribute to the one he considered a true friend.

Numerous testimonies from the Fire Department of the Municipality of Mansfield, but also from all over the MRC Pontiac, have poured in via social media since the terrible accident.

The interview with Louis-Philippe Brûlé of 104.7 Outaouais will be available soon.
