According to the CREDDO, in the absence of a collection service as simple as a recycling bin, these plastics are sent to landfill. Nolwenn Beaumont added that there is still work to be done to make Outaouais’ farmers aware of the issue of recovering these plastics.

An online survey for farmers in the region is available via the CREDDO website that aims to know the amount of plastic used by farmers.
