The MRC creates a Sport and Leisure Committee

Economic development – The Council of Mayors of the MRC Pontiac has authorized the establishment of a Sport and Leisure Committee that “will ensure the consolidation and improvement” of the community, leisure and sport services throughout the Pontiac, stipulated in the strategic plan: Vision 2020. This initiative was created “in order to develop a structured and organized leisure program across the entire territory”.

The committee will be made up of a municipal councillor from each municipality as well as the Economic Development Officer responsible for sport and recreation at the MRC Pontiac. The committee will also work in collaboration with Loisir Sport Outaouais.
