The Gatineau Police Department is asking the public for help in locating Jean-Louis Desrosiers, 79

The Gatineau Police Department (SPVG) is asking the population for help in locating Mr. Jean-Louis Desrosiers, 79, who has been missing since August 18.

Quick Facts
● Mr. Desrosiers was reportedly seen for the last time on August 18, around 1 pm, when he was leaving his residence located in the Carrefour-de-l’Hôpital district in the Gatineau sector to do some shopping.
● Mr. Desrosiers was then in his vehicle, a dark gray 2009 Hyundai Elantra, registration Y54 KPQ (Quebec).
● Mr. Desrosiers could be disoriented and therefore, could address citizens to try to find his way.
● The SPVG has reasons to fear for the health and safety of the 79-year-old man and wishes to locate him in order to ensure his well-being.
● Description of Mr. Desrosiers:

– Man with white skin;
– Height: 1.68m (5ft, 6in);
– Short white hair;
– Mustache;
– Brown eyes;
– He speaks French;
– He has a scar on the top of his left hand;
– At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a white t-shirt with the Boston Bruins logo on it.

● The SPVG is continuing its efforts on the ground in order to locate Mr. Desrosiers.
