In a press release sent today (October 15), the Centre de services scolaire des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais (CSSHBO) was informed by Outaouais Public Health of a first confirmed case of COVID-19 in one of their schools (l’École le Rucher au pavillon Pie-XII at Maniwaki), but the risk to students and staff of being infected is considered low. The school therefore remains open.
Public Health has contacted the parents and/or guardians and staff members concerned and is supporting them. The school administration, for its part, sent a letter to the parents and/or guardians of the school’s students.
The School Service Center takes the opportunity to remind everyone that all preventive measures are applied rigorously in each of its establishments.
By consulting the CSSHBO website you can see the state of affairs in relation to COVID-19 as well as the list of confirmed cases in its schools, which will be updated regularly.
