Stone Fence Theatre donates to Residence Meilleur

Last week, the Stone Fence Theatre issued a press release stating that the Board of Directors voted upon a donation of $1,000 to the Residence Meilleur in Chapeau. According to the press release, the reason for the donation was ”as thanks and appreciation for the Meilleur family, who all helped so much with Up at Fred’s – Allons-y!”

‘Up at Fred’s – Allons-y!’ is a musical performance by the Stone Fence Theatre that tells the story of Fred Meilleur, his family, his guests and the Ottawa River hotel, which was located in the municipality of l’Isle-aux-Allumettes. The show opened on July 11th for a run of 13 performances, with others added on October 26th and November 1st due to popular demand.
