DESCRIPTION: Join the Pembroke Community Choir for some poignant and meaningful Easter music on Palm Sunday when the choir presents Welsh composer Sir Karl Jenkins’ Stabat Mater featuring alto soloist Danielle Vaillancourt and a full orchestra. Stabat Mater reflects on the suffering of Mary, mother of Jesus, at the time of the Crucifixion and Jenkins’ beautiful melodic score allows the 70 voices of the choir to soar.
