Slight drop in number of students in class this week

19 May 2020 à 12:00 am

The Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais School Board (CSHBO) notes a slight drop in the number of students enrolled in class during the week of May 18th to 22nd.

A total of 504 students were enrolled, compared to 523 for the first week of back to school.

Regarding school transportation, a decrease was also noted. The CSHBO goes down to 298 students transported, compared to 309 last week.

Some students and staff may have returned home
In order to respect the instructions of the direction of Public Health, the CSHBO informs that some employees or students could be returned home if they do not feel well. However, this does not mean that the virus is present.

If a real case of COVID-19 is diagnosed in a school establishment, parents and staff will be officially informed by the management and/or the School Board. The sanitary measures given by the Directorate of Public Health will be applied.

In schools, as in all workplaces, the Department of Public Health invites employees and students who do not feel well (with cold or flu symptoms) to stay at home and to contact the 1 877-644-4545. It is important to follow the instructions that will be given to you.
