Sheenboro Nature Preserve Fundraiser Dance

In Sheenboro, there is a Nature Conservancy of Canada property that was formerly used to process logs up until the 1980. There will be Fundraiser Dance for the Sheenboro Nature Preserve Committee On Saturday May 20 held to create a trail system on the property.

According to Committee members Joanne McCann and Mary Edwards, even though they held their first meeting as an organization last fall, it took 10 years for the committee to establish itself:

They went on to explain the importance of having a Nature Conservancy of Canada owned property in the area.

The dance will feature the The Ghost Town Cryers from 9:00 pm – 12:00 am. Tickets are $12:00 each, a light lunch will be served. For Tickets, see Sheenboro’s Mayor Doris Ranger, Dick Edwards, Diane Lacourse and Joann McCann. Tickets will also be sold at the door. The funds will be used to create a nature trail on the Nature Conservancy of Canada property expected to open in the spring/summer of 2018.
