The CISSS de l’Outaouais wishes to invite people aged 55 and over to be vaccinated and specifies that several timeslots are currently available in all vaccination sites: Gatineau (without appointment every day), Wakefield, Buckingham, Pontiac (Campbell’s Bay), Maniwaki and Petite-Nation (with appointment).
The CISSS de l’Outaouais reiterates that vaccination is the most effective way to avoid complications related to the virus. “We know that community transmission is aggressive and affects several age groups and particularly young people with the third wave currently. The variants are present and numerous and cause very serious complications. The solution is to get vaccinated, ”said the CISSS de l’Outaouais in a publication released Tuesday afternoon.
The CISSS de l’Outaouais invites the population to consult the frequently asked questions concerning vaccination, available here.
