After rumors of a possible case of COVID-19 circulated in Otter Lake over the weekend, the municipality turned to Facebook to ease the population. Addressing the situation, Mayor Kim Cartier-Villeneuve said she had not yet received the official confirmation. However, the Mayor reminded residents to continue respecting the health directive and asked for their vigilance and collective participation.

Dear Citizens,
It has been brought to my attention that there could be one potential Covid 19 case in Otter Lake. I have not received the official confirmation, but as your Mayor, I am asking all citizens to please be vigilant and to continue following the health directives. Your participation will make a difference !! Thank you
