Rugby at Sieur-de-Coulonge High School

On May 6, rugby teams from l’école secondaire Sieur-de-Coulonge (ESSC) went to the Quebec Student Sport Network (RESQ) rugby tournament, which was held at the l’école secondaire Philemon Wright in Hull.

The ESSC girls team had a slow start against D’Arcy McGee’s strong seasoned team. After playing 4 games, they finished with a 7-5 loss.

The ESSC boys’ team came out with a 7-7 tie with last year’s champion Philemon. They then crushed D’Arcy McGee’s team, in a match that ended 5-0. The next tournament will take place this Saturday, May 12 on the grounds of the ESSC.
