Renfrew County Modern Quilt Guild Exposition

From July 11th to 15th, the Renfrew County Modern Quilt Guild will be displaying their work in the Bonnechere Museum during regular Museum hours. Their quilts feature bright, bold colours, high contrast improvisational piecing, both prints and minimalism, and focus on modern design. Primarily functional, these quilts are a unique, contemporary take on a traditional art form. Comprised of about 12 members, the Modern Quilt Guild meets once a month to compare work and give each other new challenges.
