Pontiac Community Cleanup: MRC and Anupaya initiative

The Pontiac community cleanup is an event organized in collaboration with the MRC Pontiac and Anupaya to clean up an illegal dump site on June 22nd on Picanoc Road at km 36 outside in the Otter Lake municipal boundaries of Klukeville.

Anupaya is a company based out of Deep River, Ontario. One of the co-owners of the company, Shannon MacLaggan explained the concept of the company which links online products sale and the protection (clean-up) of the environment.

The event page can be found on Facebook, called Nettoyage Communautaire Pontiac Community Cleanup, which will be held on June 22nd from 10am to 12pm, is open to all families. There will also be refreshments available on site. Shannon MacLaggan, also explained to CHIP 101,9 why they do this type of activity/service:
