In the run-up to the October 1st elections, Pontiac’s Carrefour jeunesse-emploi joins forces with the Carrefour jeunesse emploi de l’Outaouais and the Autonomous collective of Carrefours jeunesse emploi du Québec to ask the next Quebec government to give back to the Quebec Carrefour jeunesse emplois “Ways to improve the services they offer to youths”. The Carrefour jeunesse-emploi du Pontiac has, via a press release, asked all Quebec parties to make the commitment to offer all Quebec’s CJEUs the option of taking over the management of their core funding. As the current system does not always work for all CJEs. They want it to be up each CJE to use their better judgment to chose their local services for the greater benefit of the local youth. The provincial elections will be held on Monday (October 1st).
