Phare Ouest presents its next film: Kuessipan

The organization Phare Ouest will present the film “Kuessipan” on January 23rd under the cinema repertoire programming. This dramatic feature, directed by Myriam Verreault, is based on the eponymous novel by Naomi Fontaine, which stars a majority of non-professional actors and was shot in an Innu community in Côte-Nord.

The filmmaker should also be invited to speak with the audience, via video conference, before the screening. Kuessipan will be presented on Thursday January 23rd at 7 p.m. at the George Bryson Cultural House in Mansfield-et-Pontefract. More details of the movie night can be found at Phareouest.ca.
