The Renfrew County Public Health Unit reports an outbreak on its territory designated as a green zone in Ontario. It was reported that during the week, nine residents of Arnprior and five of the McNab/Braeside Township tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the information available, 36 people have been identified as high risk contacts and six local businesses are affected. According to the Renfrew County Public Health Unit, these are individuals who have come together in the last days. Several others are considered to have had close contact with the people who gathered. All those considered to be at-risk contacts were instructed to watch for symptoms or self-isolate until the Public Health Unit contact tracing teams could assess exposure and outcome risks. The authorities stressed that the tightening of sanitary rules would be studied.
