Outaouais update – COVID-19 – 27 avril 2020

The Outaouais region has now declared 266 cases of COVID-19 since the start of outbreak of COVID-19 in Quebec. The Potniac’s réseau local de rervice (RLS) remains at 5 cases or less.

The number of hospitalizations at the COVID-19 designated center in Gatineau (Hull Hospital) stands at 6, including one person in intensive care. Of the 266 people infected with the virus, 138 of whom have recovered with 128 cases are still active.

In the past few days, the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais announced a second death related to Covid19 in the region, a resident of the CHSLD Lionel-Émond.

Provincially, there are 24,982 confirmed cases with 1,599 deaths.
