Outaouais delegation going to Baie-Comeau for 2018 Destination loisirs

Outaouais is looking for people to register for its delegation yo be sent to at Destination loisirs 2018 in Baie-Comeau. Thirty participants from our region will travel 850 km to attend the largest gathering of disabled people in Quebec for a leisure event.

More than 600 people are expected for this biannual meeting that began 30 years ago. Among the dozens of sports, cultural and outdoor activities, participants will enjoy archery, bowling, creative workshops and even a live show. The highlights of Destination Loisirs, however, remain the traditional Sunday evening banquet and dance.

Destination loisirs will take place in the Côte-Nord region from August 31 to September 3, 2018, during the Labor Day long weekend. People with disabilities in the Outaouais can register for the delegation by contacting Loisir sport Outaouais. The $ 500 fee per participant includes transportation, activities, meals and three nights at the La Caravelle Hotel in Baie-Comeau.
