No strike before January 21st at UQO
At the University of Quebec in Outaouais, the union representing the professors and teachers promises not to call a strike before January 21st.
The goal is to give a chance for negotiations. Four new dates for talks have been added to the calendar.
The 700 UQO professors and teachers, who have been without a work contract since December 31, 2016, will continue their pressure tactics.
Pay equity with their fellow professors is at the heart of the dispute, among other things.
