New minority language media fund: ”Will make a big difference” – Lily Ryan

The Minister of Tourism, Official Languages and La Francophonie of Canada, Mélanie Joly, announced last Week a fund to support official minority language media. The co-owner of multiple newspapers in the region (Aylmer Bulletin, Pontiac Journal and the West Quebec Post) and council member of the Quebec community newspaper association (QCNA), lily Ryan, said the new funding will make a huge difference for local media:
