New Director of Economic Development, MRC Pontiac takes office

The new Economic Development Director at the Pontiac MRC, Danielle Newman, took office this week, according to a statement released by the MRC.

She replaced former MRC Pontiac’s Economic Development Director, Emilie Chazelas, who resigned, in May, after serving ten years with the organization. The press release presented Newman as “the ideal person to put the Pontiac in a position of economic strength in the region and as capable of maximizing the benefits of its’ resources, especially the forest and agriculture”.
