Last week, CHIP 101.9 announced an agreement allowing the Knights of Columbus Council 7221 to transform their bingo which took place at the Parish Hall located in Fort-Coulonge, to a bingo which will now be presented on CHIP 101.9, every Thursday starting November 19, at 7 p.m.

The head of bingo management at CHIP 101.9, Nathalie Denault, explained the operation of this new bingo which will be used by the Knights of Columbus in order to continue to donate to causes such as the CHLS Foundation, Bouffe Pontiac, scholarships, etc.

To start, the Knights of Columbus bingo will award $ 1,200 in prizes. The game will consist of a $ 1,000 full card prize and a $ 200 consolation prize. The cards will be sold at a cost of $ 6 and available at the same points of sale as the “Bingo Radio” cards from CHIP 101.9.

Remember that since last March, the Knights of Columbus bingo evenings held in the Parish Hall had to be interrupted given the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. CHIP 101.9 President Diane Grenier said that while it was a risk that regular radio bingo revenues would decrease by adding a new bingo every Thursday, the board of directors of CHIP 101.9 did not want Knights of Columbus investments to disappear. The cards for this new bingo will be available from November 13.
