Municipality of Pontiac: Return on the consultation for the boat launch ramp

A public meeting was held on February 27 in Luskville to inform the public of the progress of the boat launch ramp for the eastern part of the municipality.

According to a Facebook post by the municipality of Pontiac, citizen turnout was high at the meeting. More than 75 citizens were present and 14 people came forward to participate in the project’s committee.

This is a first step for the council to judge the level of interest residents have in a boat launch ramp. The committee will be responsible for guiding the Municipal council on this issue and participate in the development of a funding strategy.
